Aquaculture of the future

Regional, sustainable, fresh.

Sea fish without sea

We have developed a compact fish farm that is housed in recycled shipping containers and can be used by farmers, restaurateurs, grocers or private fish lovers to produce marine fish inland.

The Seawater Cube

Regional

With the help of the SEAWATER Cube, seafood will now be boosted by producers in the region. Elaborate, long and environmentally damaging transport routes from the coasts to the consumers will be avoided and the natural conditions will be preserved. You can see for yourself on site the optimum holding conditions and the outstanding quality.

Sustainable

During the construction of the SEAWATER Cube, we will supply selected ship containers, i.e. existing resources, for recycling after a comprehensive upgrade. Inside the plant, all operating processes are designed for maximum energy savings. In addition, the material utilisation of the closed system cycle is optimised and new influences on the environment are practically non-existent.

Fresh

The SEAWATER Cube has an efficient biotechnology solution. This means that the mature water supply, as well as optimal conditions for keeping the fish in good condition, are conducive to the welfare of the animals and species-friendly breeding. The fish are not exposed to any stress and we completely dispense with media. As a re-sul¬tate, the fish products have the highest freshness and “Sashimi-Quality”, so they can be eaten raw.

About us

Research

Within the framework of numerous research projects at our former university — the htw saar — we have gathered a wealth of knowledge and valuable experience in dealing with marine recirculation systems. As aquaculture experts, in addition to fish farming we are also conducting research into the cultivation of algae and plants to build up an integrated product.

Production

We produce the SEAWATER Cube in Germany and take over both the installation of specially developed components and the final assembly of customary components from the aqua¬culture of renowned German manufacturers. The entire system is integrated into the structure of the ship containers and is therefore particularly space-saving and efficient.

Consulting & Service

We see ourselves as partners of our customers and offer a comprehensive consulting and service concept. In addition to business management calculations, branding concepts and sales support, our services in this context also include training in the operation, maintenance and repair of plants.
