Fish species variety
Our system is designed for the aquaculture of saltwater fishes. These are very demanding in terms of filter technology and only grow under the best conditions. With our circulation technology, we can provide ideal conditions for both European and exotic sea fish species in the SEAWATER Cube and raise them in a healthy and stable manner. Due to the decentralized production of those species, transportation routes can be reduced and the environment is protected. In addition, sea fish has valuable nutrients and is characterized by a pure, tasty meat and appealing body shape. As a result, these fish species are not only visually elegant, but also convince consumers above all with their exquisite taste and their nutritional value. For operators of recirculated aquaculture systems, sea fish is also interesting because of its attractive market prices.

PURE AND FINE
SEAWATER Fish grows up in crystal clear water without negative influences from the environment (e.g. heavy metals, heavy oils, microplastics) and without the use of antibiotics. The animals have a pure taste (no „off-flavor due to cloudy water) and and can be sold directly. Thanks to the short transport routes, the fish is absolutely fresh, will be delivered unfrozen and can be consumed raw (sushi).

FISH IN DIRECT SALES
The traditional fish trade is often opaque and difficult to understand. Fishes (from catch or aquaculture in net cages) often cover long distances on their journey to the consumers‘ plates. After landing in the port or being imported by air freight, they are often auctioned in large market halls. This is followed by repackaging, further transports and numerous intermediaries. These processes neither respect the high-quality of fish, nor do they protect the environment or offer consumers transparency
SEAWATER Fish takes the direct sales approach. Since January 2020 we have been marketing our fish directly to end consumer via a factory sale and our online shop. We also supply the upscale gastronomy. Our customers have a wide range of products to choose from – because lots of product variations can be created out of one type of fish by filleting, smoking and boiling.
